The Shocking Discovery
The small balls were clustered near the edge of the mattress and along the seams of the bedding. They were uniform in size, slightly dark, and didn’t move. But their presence was enough to make anyone uneasy—especially in a place that’s supposed to feel clean and safe.
Thoughts immediately raced: Are these bug eggs? Is my bed infested? How long have they been here?
The First (Wrong) Assumption
In fact, bed bug eggs are usually:
- Whitish or translucent
- Much smaller than a grain of rice
- Sticky and attached to surfaces
So if what you’re seeing looks like dry, solid pellets, it’s likely something else entirely.
