Headlines that begin with phrases such as “Doctors Warn,” “Experts Are Alarmed,” or “You Need to Stop Doing This” are often designed to grab attention.
- Does the article identify the doctors or experts?
- Does it cite scientific research or official guidance?
- Is the recommendation supported by recognized health organizations?
- Does the headline accurately reflect the evidence?
If those questions cannot be answered, the story may be exaggerating a routine topic to attract clicks.
