Another held designs for a mobile app he had apparently been teaching himself to code late at night.

There were motivational quotes scribbled in the margins, lists of books he wanted to read, and even workout schedules taped carefully into the corners of the pages.

Then she found something that made her emotional.

Folded between two notebooks was a letter he had written but never given to her.

In it, he explained how pressured he sometimes felt to figure out his future. He admitted he struggled to express himself openly and often stayed quiet because he feared disappointing the people around him.

But he also wrote something she would never forget:
