Recipe Ingredients:
- 150 grams of butter
- 8 grams of vanilla sugar
- 150 grams of sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 4 eggs
- 150 grams of vanilla yogurt
- 50 grams of corn starch
- 200 grams of flour
- 15 grams of yeast
- 15 grams of bitter cocoa
- 150ml of water
- Dark chocolate
- Pistachios
- Oven preheated to 160 degrees Celsius
- 22cm diameter round cake mould
- Large bowl
- Electric or hand whisk
- Spatula
- Springform mold for melting chocolate in a bain-marie
- Mold for chopping pistachios

Step by Step Preparation:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius and prepare the cake mold by lightly buttering it and lining it with baking paper.
- Preparation of the dough:
- In a large bowl, beat the soft butter with the vanilla sugar and the sugar until the mixture is creamy and fluffy.
- Add a pinch of salt and the eggs, one at a time, continuing to beat after each addition.
- Add the vanilla yogurt to the mixture and mix well.
- Add the corn starch, sifted flour and yeast, then mix the ingredients until you obtain a smooth mixture.
- Creation of Marbled Layers:
- Divide the dough into three equal parts.
- Dissolve the bitter cocoa in the hot water and add it to one of the parts of the dough, mixing well until you obtain a uniform color.
- Pour a layer of white paste into the mold, followed by a layer of cocoa paste, a layer of white paste and finally a layer of cocoa paste.
- Using a spatula, lightly mix the layers of dough to create a marbled effect.
- Cooking the Cake:
- Place the cake in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once cooked, remove the cake from the oven and leave it to cool in the mold for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Final Decoration:
- Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie until you obtain a smooth and creamy consistency.
- Pour the melted chocolate evenly onto the surface of the marbled cake.
- Sprinkle the chopped pistachios on the surface of the melted chocolate.
- Service and Tasting:
- Once the chocolate has solidified, cut the cake into generous slices and serve it as an irresistible dessert.
- Accompany the cake with a cup of coffee or tea for a moment of pure taste pleasure.
