Pfizer (finally) releases the list of side effects of its vaccines.

Commonly Reported Side Effects

Like most vaccines, the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine (COMIRNATY) can cause temporary and generally mild side effects, which are a normal sign that the body is building protection.

The most common include:

• Pain, swelling, or redness at the injection site
• Fatigue (tiredness)
• Headache
• Fever and chills
• Muscle or joint pain

These effects usually appear within a few days after vaccination and resolve on their own.
