Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or rotini work great)
- 1 lb ground beef or thinly sliced steak (like ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 ½ cups shredded provolone cheese (or mozzarella for a milder flavor)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes, mushrooms, or hot sauce for extra flavor
Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta
Boil the pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Sauté the Veggies
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced peppers and onions and cook until softened, about 5–7 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for another 30 seconds. Remove the vegetables and set aside.

Return the cooked veggies to the skillet with the beef. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and beef broth, and simmer for 2–3 minutes. Then add the heavy cream and bring to a light simmer.
