🚫 What Not to Do
While foil is super handy, keep these safety notes in mind:
- Don’t use foil in the microwave. Ever. Sparks will fly—literally.
- Avoid acidic foods. Wrapping tomatoes, citrus, or vinegar-based items in foil can cause a reaction that changes the taste (and damages the foil).
- Label everything. Foil makes it hard to see what’s inside, so use a permanent marker or freezer tape to avoid mystery meals.
