Let the Marseille soap mixture act on the dirty surfaces of the oven for at least 30-60 minutes. This will allow the soap to soften the burnt residue, making it easier to remove.
After the soap has taken effect, use an oven scraper or plastic spatula to scrape away the softened residue.

Let the baking soda paste sit for at least 30 minutes or more, so it can work on the buildup and soften it. After that time, use a damp sponge or cloth to gently remove the paste, along with the softened burnt oil. You may need to do a little bit of work to completely remove stubborn buildup.
Finally, rinse the oven thoroughly with clean water and dry it with a dry cloth.
