Freezer, the trick to defrost it in 5 minutes: it has never been so easy

Do you want to speed up the defrosting of the freezer as much as possible? You can do it  with a hair dryer  . It’s a simple trick, but you should take the following precautions when  applying hot air inside your freezer  :

• Move the hair dryer away from the walls and coils of the freezer. The high heat given off by the hair dryer could cause damage to the device.
• Do not touch the ice with the hair dryer and avoid direct contact with water. You should also keep the hair dryer cord away from water.

A warm spatula can help you  defrost your freezer without turning it off   if you use it correctly. It must be made of metal and  must be heated over a fire.   Then   scrape the ice  off the walls of the freezer to melt it. As a precaution, wear gloves before performing this method to avoid burning yourself.

Defrost the freezer naturally

If you are not in a hurry to   defrost the refrigerator  and do not want to resort to any of the methods indicated above, opt for  natural defrosting,  that is, the ice melts little by little and without the help of tools. To do this,  open the door to let the heat in  and melt the ice.

Finally, place a container to drop the ice water into. This is the   safest method to defrost your freezer  , but also the slowest.

Once it’s completely thawed using one of the methods above,  it will also be much easier to clean  . Simply wipe with a damp cloth and if it is very dirty wipe it with a little white vinegar or baking soda, then rinse with hot water.
