•1 cup breadcrumbs (panko works best for extra crunch)

Instructions:
•In a bowl, whisk together buttermilk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the mushrooms and let them soak for 20-30 minutes.
•In a separate bowl, mix the flour, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese (if using), smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
•Remove the mushrooms from the buttermilk and shake off any excess liquid. Roll them in the breading mixture, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
4. Fry the Mushrooms:
•Fry the mushrooms in batches for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
5. Drain and Serve:
•Serve immediately with dipping sauces like ranch, aioli, or spicy mayo.
