Wrap each leek in a slice of ham.
Add the béchamel and cheese:
Pour the béchamel over the rolled leeks.
Sprinkle generously with grated cheese for a nice gratin.
Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the top is nicely browned and crispy.
Serving:
Serve hot alongside a green salad or potatoes if desired.
To vary the flavors, try adding a little herbs de Provence or fresh herbs such as parsley or chives
