- Every day after work, I do the same thing: I kick off my shoes, light the candle that smells like a “freshly cleaned home,” and get into my favorite sofa position. If you’re expecting me to share my enthusiasm for books or TV shows, you’d be wrong. It gets much better than that. My mind starts wandering to the kind of meal I would want to make for supper. I tell you what, however! For some reason, I find great joy in the kitchen, particularly when the dish at hand is both easy and delicious.
If I’m being very honest, there are times when I just don’t feel like cooking because of all the supplies and tasks involved. When my mind is totally drained, I just need something to make me feel better without forcing me to follow a certain routine. My four-ingredient ravioli lasagna comes into play at that moment. Without a doubt, all it takes is four basic components, a couple of straightforward actions, and a whole lot of happiness.
