Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C) before using it.
In a little bowl, combine brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Spread the mix of spices all over the pork tenderloin.
Warm olive oil in a skillet that can be used in the oven on medium heat. Once the pan is hot, put the pork tenderloin in and cook on all sides until the bacon is crunchy, which should take around 5-7 minutes.
Put the pan in the oven that has been preheated and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the pork inside reaches a temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Serve and have fun!
To make it a little spicy, sprinkle a bit of cayenne pepper onto the spice mix. If someone in your family is a picky eater and doesn’t like mustard, you can skip it, and the meal will still taste great. You can also try using different spices, like a bit of rosemary or thyme, to give your dish a natural taste. For a stronger flavor, try using thick slices of bacon smoked with hickory.
