Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and salt, stirring till sugar melts and the mix turns glossy. Introduce pecans and bring to a boil, stirring for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat, blend in vanilla, and immediately pour over the crackers. Smooth out with a spatula to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Cool completely, allowing it to transform into a delightful crunchy bark.
Break into bite-sized pieces or slice neatly. Store in an airtight container for up to a week – if it lasts that long!
