INSTRUCTIONS:
– 2nd Step: Lay out a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place about a teaspoon of the filling in the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it over the filling to form a triangle.
– 3rd Step: Press the edges to seal, making sure there are no air bubbles trapped inside. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling until all the wontons are assembled.
– 5th Step: Cook the wontons for 4-5 minutes, or until they float to the surface and are cooked through. Remove them from the water with a slotted spoon and set aside.
– 6th Step: In a separate pot, heat the chicken or vegetable broth over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, and sliced mushrooms, if using.
– 8th Step: Ladle the hot soup into bowls and add a few cooked wontons to each bowl. Garnish with chopped cilantro and additional chopped green onions, if desired. And serve the wonton soup hot and enjoy!
