1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (thermostat 6-7).
2. Peel and slice the onion and garlic. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent.
3. Add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute. For the tomato sauce in the skillet, add the basil and oregano, then season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
4. Meanwhile, season the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper. Heat a little olive oil in another skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken cutlets on each side until cooked through and lightly browned, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
