Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). This ensures it’s hot enough to bake the pockets to a golden brown.
Cook the Onions and Beef:
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent and soft, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Break it apart with a spoon and cook until it’s browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Season the Beef Mixture:
Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into 8 triangles.
Spoon the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal, forming the pockets.
Bake:
Place the pockets on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced out.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the dough is golden and crispy.
