Apple slab pie is a great dessert for a party! It’s a big apple pie baked on a large flat pan and cut into squares for serving. What could be better than this?!
For the base:
3 and 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour, which is equal to 470 grams.
1 and a half teaspoons of table salt.
3 sticks of unsalted butter, each stick weighing 12 oz or 340 grams, cut into small pieces and kept very cold.
For the apple mixture:
Lemon juice squeeze
3 tablespoons of cornstarch
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ground allspice
1/8 teaspoon of table salt
