Place the chuck roast of beef in a slow cooker that has been well oiled.
Put the lid on your slow cooker and turn it on high. You may either boil it for four hours on high or simmer it for six to eight hours on low.
After the meat has soaked up all the spices and become tender, remove it from the heat and shred it using two forks. Resubmerge it in the slow cooker’s delicious juices, being sure to coat each strand with taste.
