Instructions:
- Prepare the Jalapeño Poppers:
- Slice jalapeño peppers lengthwise and remove the seeds if you prefer it less spicy.
- Fill the jalapeño halves with cream cheese.
- Assemble the Grilled Cheese:
- Take two slices of bread and spread butter on one side of each slice.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, on a preheated skillet or pan over medium heat.
- Layer the Ingredients:
- Spread a layer of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the bread in the pan.
- Add the prepared jalapeño poppers on top of the cheese layer.
- Sprinkle some more shredded cheddar cheese on top of the jalapeños.
- Top it Off:
- Place the second slice of bread on top, butter side facing up.
- Grill to Perfection:
- Grill the sandwich for a few minutes on each side until the bread turns golden brown and the cheese melts. You can press the sandwich down gently with a spatula to help it cook evenly.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Once both sides are nicely grilled and the cheese is melted, remove the sandwich from the pan.
- Let it cool for a minute or so, then slice it diagonally if desired.
- Serve and enjoy your delicious jalapeño poppers grilled cheese!
